UK Ice Cream Warning in Valencia

The Spanish Consumer, Food Safety and Nutrition Agency (AECOSAN) has warned that ice cream imported from the UK could have an undeclared nut content and be a danger to people with nut allergy. Although the ice cream called “Ice King” does not carry the usual warning “may contain nuts”, nut traces were found in samples of the ice cream.

The ice cream is presently on sale in various outlets across the Valencian community and people with nut allergies are being advised not to eat ice cream.
