I am a trained and licensed psychotherapist in the United States and have received three Master’s, one in Mental Health Counseling, another in Sociology and another done here with UNED in EMDR and Psychotherapy. I have over 25 years experience and I am currently licensed in their respective US National Boards as a LCMHC, Licensed Professional Counselor, an LCAS, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialists. Additionally, I am US certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy, EMDR, TRM and Trauma Informed Yoga for Mental Health. I have had training in Mindfulness, Mind/Body Approaches to increase and regulate functioning and other Mind/Body psychotherapy modalities. I have recently completed a Postgrad in Dance and Movement Therapy at UAB and a Master’s in EMDR and Psychotherapy with UNED. I utilize IFS Informed therapy, (currently in training of IFS Level I) as well as Somatic Experiencing Informed approaches. In my practice, I not only utilize traditional psychotherapy approaches but I rely mostly on wholistic and integrative therapeutic approaches essential to the improvement and regulation of functioning. I have had extensive training in the field of mental health and have treated clients across a wide spectrum of dysfunction. I specialize in issues related to trauma, grief, loss, depression, anxiety, transitions related to Expat life experiences and work only with adults and couples. Online sessions are available.
