Hello, my name is Sam and I am counselling psychologist and integrative psychotherapist. This means I have been trained to doctoral level, as well as holding clinical diplomas in both integrative and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
I work with clients on a medium- to long-term basis and can help with a wide range of issues including trauma, PTSD, abuse, relationship and family issues, and a wide range of mental health issues. I have particular specialist knowledge and experiences of issues surrounding family estrangement as an area where I have conducted research.
In my practice, I endeavour to offer a safe space through a supportive relationship – one that enables individuals to look within and learn about themselves in ways that may not have been previously available outside of such a space. I see my role as one of actively supporting you to explore your experiences and cultivating a therapeutic relationship that promotes transformation and growth.
I am able to offer appointments online at present and soon, I will be offering face-to-face appointments. Please take a look at my website to get a sense of how I work www.headspace-therapy.com and for information on how to contact me for an initial appointment together.
