We discuss your situation and any problems in a safe and confidential environment. I will help you to develop new ideas and strategies to be able to cope, overcome and understand your issues. I will listen to you, support you and challenge your thoughts so that you are able to come up with your own solutions. I will explore areas with you that could potentially prevent you from moving forward.

Discussing your thoughts and issues along with your situation in a confidential environment allows you to think of ways to move forward. You will learn new exercises that will help you to feel more grounded during an emotional and difficult time. Having support during the process you are going through will help you to move forward at your own pace and on your own terms.
SOLUTION FOCUSED COUNSELLING
I use solution focused counselling which means that the counselling highlights your strengths instead of any negative perceived deficits. The main benefit of solution focused counselling is that you find solutions to your situation. This can result in a reduction in the symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression. We identify clear goals from the start and as a result of this we will understand that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and therefore can identify when you are likely to no longer need counselling.
ABOUT ME
I am Mark Wilson an experienced, qualified counsellor. I have been counselling bereavement since 1984 and have gradually studied other subjects. I help adults with difficult life changes; people who feel stuck in their life and do not know where to go and who have fears or doubts about their future. I am diploma qualified but qualified through life experiences which I believe to be very important.
I charge 50 Euro’s for a 60 minute session.
